Reminders about our craft burst our imaginations into creative mode. From A to Z, we find sources of inspiration to keep us writing. I\u2019ve chosen the first word that entered my mind to keep my imagination in full gear.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A – Adventure<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Penning our stories is an exciting journey for the writer and the reader. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

B – Bestseller<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We all want to have bestseller after our name, so now is the time to commit to learning as a lifelong pursuit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

C – Character<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All great fiction includes superbly crafted personalities. Without these life-like people, our stories fall flat.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

D – Dialogue<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Readers are excited to read what our characters have to say and how they say it. This includes body language and gestures.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

E – Edit<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

An award-winning story needs rounds of editing to ensure the writer\u2019s best is presented to the world.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

F – Foreshadow<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

How a writer hints of what\u2019s to come is a talent, one that great stories incorporate for success. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

G – Genre<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A writer determines a particular literary category for two reasons: 1) To brand the writer\u2019s style and 2) To meet the reader\u2019s expectations of the story\u2019s contents.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

H – Habit<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers develop their routines according to their personality and methods of approaching life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I – Inspiration<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We all need to feel the urge to create a stellar writing project.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

J – Jump-start<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Establish different ways to energize your writing day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We strive to make our stories enchanting and incredible, no matter the genre.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

N – Narrative<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The narrative of our stories is written to bridge time by giving valuable information in a concise and engaging manner by using sensory perception.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

O – Organic<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Many writers choose to write organically by allowing the essential parts of the story to rise out of character and thus eliminating an outline.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

P – Plot<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a novel\u2019s storyline, the main events of a fiction work. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Q – Quirky<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We writers hold this as a description of ourselves, and we\u2019re proud of it.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

R – Romance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers never forget most book buyers are women who enjoy a thread of love and affection.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

S – Setting<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bestselling writers establish antagonistic settings. A scene\u2019s environment may look charming and alluring, but it has a deceptive motive.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

T – Them<\/strong>e<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The one idea that relates to the character\u2019s life and appears subtly throughout a story. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

U – Unique<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Each story contains a one-of-a-kind happening or concept that is distinct and remarkable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

V – Viewpoint<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers choose two considerations for point of view: 1) First, second, or third person and a variation and 2) Who is the point of view character in a particular scene? What character has the most to lose?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

W – Wrench<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers toss an unexpected event or change into each scene to raise the stakes for the point of view character.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

X \u2013 X-Factor <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers long for the significant, noteworthy quality about their writing style. This drive keeps them involved in the whole writing process.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Y – You<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A writer\u2019s voice determines the \u201cyou\u201d <\/b>feature in a story. Only you<\/b> can do the work involved. Only you<\/b> can string words together in a special fashion that sends a reader on a magic carpet ride.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Z – Zany<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writers are known for their idiosyncratic manner of experiencing life. Humor is a part of our remarkable traits. Use it. Embrace it.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
