The Texas Center for the Book is pleased to offer its fourth season of its #TXBookChat series<\/a>, their popular virtual literary events program, launching July 29, 2021. This online program from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission began in 2020. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The #TXBookChat series offers brief discussions with authors, librarians and literary professionals. These informal \u201ccoffee chats\u201d last about 30 minutes and offer a quick look into different aspects of the state\u2019s literary world. #TXBookChat seeks to bring together diverse voices and perspectives.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

#TXBookChat season four will present four new conversations, scheduled through this fall. All programs begin at 11:00 a.m., Central, with the final conversation being with Lone Star Literary Life’s Kristine Hall.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited to host another season of the #TXBookChat program at the Texas Center for the Book,\u201d said Coordinator Rebekah Manley. \u201cThis virtual series has been a great platform for Texas authors, illustrators, librarians and literacy advocates to connect with book lovers statewide and beyond.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
