Delay notwithstanding, a lot of buzz is being generated by the first general interest, independent bookstore to open in San Antonio in quite some time. Nowhere is already rated San Antonio\u2019s #1 bookstore on Yelp, and Lawson is hoping it will continue to grow and thrive.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kindredcreativeszine.com\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\" target=\"_blank\">Kindred Creatives Art and Literary Press<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">, located in the Lewisville Music City Mall, had its grand opening Saturday, July 10, in Lewisville, Texas. It offers exposure for new writers through events and a space to sell their books. There will be a library and literacy corner, stocked with donated books that people can keep or swap. Students will also have access to tutoring, and readers\u2019 and writers\u2019 workshops will be offered. It will even provide art classes and other creative workshops and resources.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kindredstorieshtx.com\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\" target=\"_blank\">Kindred Stories<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"> is a bookstore for all ages, specializing in Black authors and stories. She says that \u201cKindred Stories was born of a love for reading and a passion for community,\u201d and that Kindred Stories \u201cis here to give kids and adults alike a space to explore the wide-open world of literary content and creative works fashioned by black and brown hands.\u201d It has opened with an online presence and is considering a brick-and-mortar opening later this summer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Woman-owned, queer-owned bookstore <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ReverieBooksAustin\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\" target=\"_blank\">Reverie Books<\/a>, <\/strong>is set to open fall 2021. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#26282a\">The new bookstore, dedicated to community and social justice, is coming to Austin\u2019s \u201945 neighborhood in the Fall of 2021.
