B&N opens all Texas stores with COVID-19 safety measures<\/p>\n

Barnes & Noble (B&N)<\/strong><\/a><\/span> announced that all its Texas stores have been re-opened to the public after being closed due to COVID-19. Deciding to open the stores was based on state and local guidelines, and a number of safety precautions have been implemented for both customers and booksellers. The safety measures customers will find in Texas stores include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Enhanced cleaning throughout the day<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
Social distancing measures of at least six feet for customers and booksellers, including a limit to the number of customers at any one time, and in-store signage<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
Protective barriers at registers to separate customers and booksellers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
Booksellers are always required to wear face masks<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
All booksellers have temperature checks before shifts<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
Designated spaces are marked for customers to deposit any books they have browsed, for these then to be taken out of circulation for sanitizing<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
Caf\u00e9s are limited to to-go only service and BN Caf\u00e9 App pickup<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n

Curbside delivery for buy online, pick up in store orders<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

B&N will not be holding in-store events but are hosting virtual events with authors and story-time book readings, which are available on BN.com and B&N\u2019s social-media channels.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
