The shop is divided into two sections, literary and discourses. Literary features new releases and award-winning fiction and poetry. The discourses section contains nonfiction new releases with a focus on modern philosophy, intellectual discourse, history, and essay collections. They will have typed poems from local writer Marco Cavazos available in the shop. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#353535\">Cavazos opened Poets of Oak Cliff with business partners Kelsi Cavazos and Russell Hargraves. They also own the adjacent Cigar Art<\/span><span style=\"color:#353535\">&nbsp;together. They originally envisioned a writers\u2019 space, but that evolved into a bookstore with a focus on poetry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#353535\">\u201cOur vision is to be a community bookshop,\u201d Hargraves told the <em>Oak Cliff Advocate<\/em>. \u201cWe\u2019re not looking for a huge footprint or a giant online presence.
