This year marks the tenth&nbsp;anniversary of <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.co.midland.tx.us\/297\/Project-Literacy\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\"><strong>Project Literacy<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#1d2228\">, a collaborative initiative that features school programs, author visits, and book signings for the public.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#1d2228\">Project Literacy kicks off October 7 with a celebration at this year\u2019s host school, Santa Rita Elementary. Copies of award-winning author Kate DiCamillo\u2019s first book in the popular Mercy Watson series will be delivered to Santa Rita and all other MISD elementary campuses.
