Taya Kyle has teamed up again with Jim DeFelice to produce a book of inspiring stories, American Spirit: Profiles in Resilience, Courage, and Faith<\/em> (William Morrow, $27.99 hardcover). Kyle, whose husband\u2014\u201cAmerican Sniper\u201d Chris Kyle\u2014was murdered by a veteran he was trying to help in 2013, told her own story in 2015 in American Wife<\/em>, also co-authored by DeFelice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In American Spirit<\/em>, they focus on people who are making a positive difference where they live in a variety of ways. \u201cShining a light in the darkness,\u201d they write, \u201cproduces more light.
