Long-time readers will know Michelle from our Go! Calendar, which she compiles from some two hundred different sources each week. Or you may know her from her Lone Star editorial book reviews, which she’s written as a contributing editor since the founding of LSLL in February 2015. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Michelle is a voting member of the National Book Critics Circle, a member of the Writers’ League of Texas, and a member of PEN American. In addition, she has been the editor of The Texas Spur newspaper for the last year. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Michelle has been a reviewer for Kirkus Indie and Foreword Reviews, served on the Permian Basin Writers’ Workshop advisory committee, appeared on a panel for the Writers\u2019 League of Texas at Books in the Basin, and she has been a regular moderator for the Texas Book Festival in Austin. Her reviews appear in Foreword Reviews<\/em>, Pleiades<\/em>, Rain Taxi<\/em>, World Literature Today<\/em>, High Country News<\/em>, South85 Journal<\/em>, The Review Review<\/em>, Concho River Review<\/em>, Monkeybicycle<\/em>, Mosaic Literary Magazine<\/em>, Atticus Review<\/em>, The Rumpus<\/em>, Bookslut<\/em>, PANK Magazine<\/em>, and The Collagist<\/em>. Michelle recently began offering freelance editing services.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
